This Opium Gazer is made of sterling silver, rubies and blown glass. While walking across the United States in 2007, I found Coopers hawk legs that later I made molds, and are cast here in sterling silver. Similarly, the opium poppy was grown out in the garden and now I cast in sterling silver. The Opium Gazer stands 11” tall, and lets off a subtle light, adding the drama one might expect from this creature.
This design is limited edition, and stamped with a unique number. Each handmade piece has individual, unique characteristics inherent to the materials, and as made by me.
